Temperament: Cat-curious, but we are working with her.  Kissy and Libby are littermates! Kissy, otherwise known as Kiss or Kiss Kiss, sleeps through the night but likes to get up early! She gets along well with the greyhound in her foster home.  She would probably be best with older dogs as she is not fond of the rambunctious young dogs and she is an alpha girl. She would probably also appreciate being an only pet. Kissy does well on walks and does her business both in fenced yard and on leash. While she was slightly interested in the cat during her cat-test, she quickly got bored with her, and so far, she has shown no interest in neighborhood cats while out on walks. She is a really sweet girl who always wants her ears and head rubbed.

Whelp Date:  9/7/03     Sex: Female     Color:  Blue Brindle

Temperament: Cat-friendly.  Lena is extremely skittish, but we are working with her.  Lena is showing progress every day. She is still skittish around new people at first but eventually warms up.  She still needs to be invited into a room but doesn’t hide in the corner anymore.  She is very well mannered and while she was a little growly at first with her new foster brother, now that she knows him she is fine with him.  She loves being outside and is curious about everything in her new world.

Temperament: Cat-friendly. Joe was originally placed by Humane Society of Pinellas, and comes to GREAT due to his family's home foreclosure.  Joe is a wonderful dog and handles very well on a leash, no pulling and responds to his name.  He adapted easily into his foster home within a couple of days.  Joe is very affectionate and enjoys playing with squeaky toys.  He has a good appetite and sleeps through the night.  Joe will make a wonderful pet.

Temperament:  Cat-friendly.  Roxie is from an "oops litter" that was originally placed by Humane Society of Pinellas, and comes to GREAT due to her family's home foreclosure.  More information coming soon!
