Temperament: NOT cat-friendly.  Secret was originally placed for adoption by SPCA Tampa Bay, but his owner could not keep him due to his work schedule.  Secret is a sweet active young man and still has the mindset of a puppy!  He is strong on a leash but is learning to walk nicely, and while he's not cat-friendly, he gets along beautifully with other greyhounds and with the Italian greyhound in his current foster home.  He is still learning manners, like how to stay off the counter-tops!  A fun, energetic boy, Secret will make a wonderful companion for the right family!

Temperament:  Hi, I am Fanny.  I am looking for a forever home with a family that DOES NOT have any cats or other small animals.  I love my greyhound sisters and brothers, but not small critters. I love to play with my toys and run in the yard. I definitely do need a yard to run in because I have lots of energy. I also love a long walk to see what’s happening in the neighborhood.  I am friendly with all people I meet, but I don’t like going to Meet & Greets because there are always things around that make me get real excited.

 I am young and love attention from my humans.  I would be a lap dog if I didn’t have a long body and long legs.  As it is, I will stand for a long time with my head in their arms and be petted and give them kisses.  Sometimes I try to be the center of attention when they are petting one of my brothers or sisters, then I get told no with a gentle push away and I go to my bed and lie down and wait my turn.

I sure hope someone will read this and know that I would be their perfect pet greyhound.

Temperament:  Heather is a beautiful long legged girl who is just a little shy.  She enjoys relaxing on her nice soft floor comforter in the living room and listening to smooth jazz. She likes to run around her foster parents’ yard and find a nice shady piece of grass to lie on until her foster mom gets too close with the hose.  She has exceptionally long ears that will stand straight up when she is focused on something.  Heather has her special spot to sleep in the evening and if another pup dares to be there when it's bedtime she will stare at them until they get up.  Heather is healthy and loves mealtime.  She has a total of four teeth but cleans her bowl every meal.  She does appreciate her dog cookies crushed when it's snack time.  Heather gets along well with her foster home siblings and will make a sweet, wonderful pet for the right loving home.
