Whelp Date:  12/24/05     Sex: Male     Color:  Fawn

Temperament: Cat-friendly.  Mr. Dodd has earned the nickname The Gentle Giant.  He is a big lanky teenager with a sweet, mild, gentle attitude.  He and his foster brother Hammer love dragging mom around on walks and Dodd is very curious about his surroundings.  He loves squirrels and is bound and determined to catch one someday!  He also enjoys barking at ducks through the window!  Though he is still young he is very relaxed for his age, he's even a little on the timid side.  He sleeps, eats, plays and generally lives the life of a pampered pooch.  His favorite toy is a tennis ball, but we haven't had a chance to play fetch because his foster brother intimidates him easily and takes the toys away!   :)  Dodd spent some time around a couple of pre-teens (9 & 12 years old) over the Christmas holidays, and was terrified of them... we'll continue to work on this, but he may be better placed in a home that has no kids, or older kids.  He also prefers to be with other dogs rather than on his own - being around other dogs gives him a bit more confidence!

Temperament: Cat friendly.  Kyle is the son of Camryn Chilton, placed by GREAT, Inc.!  Kyle is a sweet sensitive boy, just like his mom. His fur is super soft and he loves to be petted and brushed.  He loves meal time and has to be reminded that he can only have his bowl and not all the other dogs’ food too!  Kyle crates easily but will howl when he hears his foster parents get home to make sure he is not forgotten! Kyle loves toys but is a bit rough on the soft ones so we got him a "tuff" toy and he is enjoying that. He loves cookie time and is a smart boy; he already knows the “sit” and “down” commands. Kyle smiles a big toothy grin when he is excited. He is a cute, super silly, happy bouncy boy. Due to his sometimes shy nature it would be best for Kyle to have a doggie companion in his forever home, and he has proven to be nervous of strangers visiting his home and nervous around kids, so he would be best placed in a quiet home with no children.  He walks well on the leash and warms up to new people, once he spends a little time with them!  Kyle will make a wonderful companion for his forever family!
