On October 8, 2010, GREAT member Bob Lawrence passed away.  Bob's family members have asked to remember Bob and his great love for his greyhounds by asking those who wish to remember him

 to make a donation to benefit greyhounds in need.  We are saddened by their loss and honored that they have chosen to remember Bob by helping the greyhounds he loved so well.

Bob and his wife Karen first decided to foster retired greyhounds after reading about the plight they faced.  Krazy Kirk, the first to arrive, was soon followed by Fuzzy’s Baloopa,

Sam, and Rio River.  With each new adoption Bob’s passion for greyhound rescue grew.  From the window decals he had made for his car to the link he had on his business website,

his efforts to promote adoption were endless.  Bob’s life was enhanced with the love of his rescued four legged friends, and ours was enhanced with his.  He will be truly missed.
