While
greyhounds are gentle, loving creatures and normally do well with
children, they are normally not raised around small children and
therefore are not accustomed to small infants, older babies and
toddlers. GREAT's policy is to ask families to wait until
their children are above the age of 6 years old before applying to
adopt a greyhound. We may make exceptions for those families
with children who are almost 6, or for families who have recent or
current experience with greyhounds or other large dogs. If you
may be eligible for an exception, please answer yes to the following
question and complete the application. We will contact you to
discuss whether or not we can make an exception.
Please
follow the instructions on each of the following screens in order to complete your
application:
1) Are your children 6 years old or greater?
